Description
This is a lovely satinwood Art Nouveau style bracket clock of "trophy" design, having a swept-arch top to the case, waisted sides and a swept and stepped base, and standing on ogeed, gilt brass bracket feet. There is very fine inlaid detail to the front, with boxwood stringing and kingwood inlay. A gilt brass finial to the top. The case retains it's original french-polished finish and has a beautiful, rich, warm patina. The silvered dial has black Roman numerals and nicely cut black hands. It has a convex glass within a cast brass bezel. The 8 day movement strikes on the half-hour and the number of hours on the hour. It has just been fully serviced by our Bhi registered horologist and carries our usual 12 mths full parts and labour guarantee.
Height shown excludes the finial.
A lovely quality clock all round.
