An arts and crafts tube lined vase/bowl in the style of Walter Crane .
Maker currently unidentified. There are two sets of numbers underneath; one impressed, the other written.
No other example can be currently found for a comparison.
However one was seen in the background on a tv show many years ago!
The vase exemplifies arts and crafts with respect to the skill needed to undertake tube lining and also the striking design.
Tube lined is associated with Art Pottery and potteries like Moorcroft, Macintyre to name a few.
