Description
This is an extremely well made arts and crafts beaten copper inkwell with three inkwell holders.
Please note the liners are not original.
Probably by A.E.Jones and made by Jesson Birkett & Co .
The patinated copper is similar to one that the company patented.
This is a well executed and larger than most inkwell which has a pen holder and two additional holders. One could remove the liners and put ones keys inside or underneath the ink holders for safe keeping.
All the copper is hand beaten.
The lid is raised with the little copper piece which curls.
The hinges are copper and an integral part of the design.
Was £275 now £225 .
