Description
This is an early Arts & Crafts antique dressing table set using copper and brass (mainly copper)... all handmade. The enamelwork is similar to cloisonne in one sense. The set one could easily try and attribute to the Guild of Handicraft and not another well known guild. They were contacted to comment / observe. The flower could be an iris and very similar work can be noted as above on various pieces. Being sold as a decorative dressing table set. No attributions. Some early Newlyn copper has this look / influence as it predates Newlyn.
This is a beautiful set and seldom appears on the UK market.
