This is a superb Asprey Art Deco (1939) vintage sterling silver & etched glass dressing table or hatpin tall jar. The silver gilt pull-off lid with fine engine-turned texture and has original gilding (gold washed), fully hallmarked. The glass jar has moulded vertical patterns which are etched to accentuate the reeded texture. Hallmarks:- London, Silver fineness 925. Maker Asprey & Co Ltd. Dimension: 4cm x 4cm (1 1/2" x 1 1/2").
