Bamboo Bangle Sterling Silver 1977 Vintage Ornate Frosted Bracelet 7" Length

Fabulous original vintage solid Sterling silver (Birmingham Assay) very attractive and highly unusual frosted bamboo bangle/bracelet. C~1977. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph and there are none on the actual bracelet). Measures: 7" internal circumference, 7mm width and weighs a very respectable 9.8 grams. Elaborately adorned all around with a detailed, highly polished, engine turned frosted bamboo decoration which is as bright and crisp today as the day it was made and reflects the light beautifully. Secure push in 'cockrell combe' clasp which opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click, and recessed hinge to the opposite side is true and firm with absolutely no play. Fully and clearly hallmarked on one internal side (within different shaped, large slightly recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant (Sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and fancy scrolled capital letter C - dating her to 1977, with the makers initials: JS within a shield shaped cartouche. Hallmarked to the opposite internal side (somewhat rubbed or have been 'under-stamped') with the Lion passant and capital scrolled letter: C. Still retains the original silver safety chain for added security and peace of mind. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear due to her slightly oval shape. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no wear or damage and just a few extremely light and fine (micro) little surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only and are mainly to the inside) commensurate with age.
