19th Century Anglo Japanese lacquered bamboo bureau. Hand painted lacquered paneled fall flap, door and drawer with embossed foliate surfaced shelving, interiors and panels to side. The upper section with a cupboard enclosed storage flanked by open shelving. The fall flap below enclosed git tooled leather writing surface and fitted interior above a fitted drawer and open storage underneath. Offered in good condition for the age.
