Beautiful Mock-Crocodile Leather Weekend Case 16" Harrods London

Beautiful brown leather mock-crocodile leather weekend case dating from c 1920 and in excellent, unmarked condition. This is an absolutely stunning weekend case made of leather that has been impressed with crocodile pattern. There are varying degrees of quality in mock-crocodile, some of it very poor quality, but this is the very best, as you would expect from Harrods, and it is almost indistinguishable from genuine crocodile leather. On the front there are two lovely brass locks, both in perfect working order, and a leather handle that is good and strong. Inside is lined in brown silk which is in excellent order, with a selection of pockets all round. On the front it is marked Harrods London Sw. This is a craftsman-made piece of top quality vintage luggage, perfectly usuable today for a weekend case or attache case.
