Beautiful Victorian Silver Plated & Engraved Glass Claret Jug by Elkington & Co

This is a beautiful late 19th Century Victorian antique silver plated and engraved glass claret jug by Elkington & Co in time warp condition. The lid surmounted by a lion holding a vacant shield, ornately cast decoration with vines and masks to the mount with a bacchus mask spout and engraved handle. The body is finely engraved with fruiting vines and a star cut base. Elkington & Co impressed marks and date letter D for 1889.
