19th Century Biedermeier mahogany secretaire. The upper section with a three concave and convex shaped doors enclosed shelving and drawers. The lower section fall flap enclosed a fitted interior comprising inlaid satinwood and walnut drawers and cupboard. Fitted four long graduated drawers – including the pull-out gradient adjustable writing surface enclosed storage – with dovetailed jointing and raised on carved bracket feet. It dismantles to three sections for ease of movement. Supplied with original key. Locks in smooth working order.
