This book is a compilation of the three popular Flower Fairy books by the fabulously talented author and illustrator Cicely Mary Barker. The three books covered in this one edition are the earlier editions of - Flower Fairies of the Wayside - Flower Fairies of the Garden - Fairies of the Trees, each fairy was modeled by her local school children and each is accompanied by a poem. Bound in green cloth with gilt titles and a gilt fairy on the fron board. Pink fairy decorated end papers half title, facing end paper are a little foxed with gift inscription in pen, title page has slight foxing. covers are clean and bright interior is very good and clean. there are a total of 75 plates of fairies all in excellent condition. Scarce first edition
