A very high-quality trio of silver handmade stationery items in their original signed velvet-lined box, designed by established artist Ernesto Fiori and manufactured by the internationally renowned silversmiths family of “Bernasconi”, in Milano, Italia. Ernesto Bernasconi established the family business in the late 19th Century, and between 1910-c1938 his wife, Ginevra Bernasconi, took over the business, signing the firms exquisite work with her name (“G. Bernasconi”), such as this boxed trio. Following Wwii, the Bernasconi sons, (Giorgio, Aldo, and Alberto), took over the business and it remains a family business to this day. In 1925, the firm was also granted a Royal Charter by King Vittorio Emanuele III for their exceptional high-quality craftsmanship, going on to produce many fine items of silverware for members of the Royal households of Italy. Today, their exceptional work is still in huge demand by notable clients and serious collectors.
