Description
A golden oak desk in the Art and Crafts taste dating from 1920's or 30's. Solid oak throughout with attractive figuring. Oblong shaped plain top. Two banks of four drawers flanking a kneehole under a single drawers. All drawers with original brass drop handles.
Ideal as dressing table also. Handmade in a workshop in keeping with the Arts and Crafts movement philosophy. A charming original desk, in very good condition and ready for use.

This desk measures approximately 76.75 cm (30.25") tall, 113.5 cm (44.75") wide, 60.5 cm (23.75") deep, and the kneehole clearance is 56 cm (22") tall by 44.5 cm (15.5") wide.

All original, including locks, escutcheons and handles. Circle in desk top, but this was likely to fill a knot done during construction. No obvious signs or damage or repair.
