Description
We present for consideration, this wonderful English brass cased carriage timepiece, originally retailed by Norfolk jewellers ‘William Winlove' of Hunstanton. The clock has 5 x bevelled glass panels and comes with its original rouge diced Morocco leather travel case, in very good condition.
• Case sits on four brass bun feet and has a shaped brass carry handle.
• Hand-crafted pierced case fretwork to the upper and lower corniches.
• Winlove signed white enamelled dial with black Arabic numerals.
• Original pair of blued solid lance spade hands.
• Glazed swing rear door.
• Quality 8-day rear winding movement with serial number.
• Mechanism driven by a jewelled and Swiss made platform escapement, visible through the mounted top glass tablet.
• Comes with a brass winding key.
