Description
Here we have a wonderful and rare solid George III Elm Norfolk chest of drawers c.1800. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. This Norfolk farmhouse chest has typical reeded mouldings to the top edge and the drawer fronts. There is a beautiful plank top with super grain and colour. There are four straight drawers with original turned bun handles and hand cut chunky dove tailed joints. The chest is of course pegged mortice and tenon construction with lovely panelled sides and back. The whole sits on a superb shaped bracket foot base.
A rare and beautiful chest of drawers in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 92 cm wide 50 cm deep 98 cm high.
