A premium 20 x piece tea set by Royal Albert (Paragon), from their highly fashionable "Belinda" pattern. The set includes: 6 x cups, 6 x saucers, 6 x side plates, sugar bowl, and milk jug. The historically famous 'Paragon' brand name was acquired by the Royal Doulton Group in 1972, (being finally discontinued in 1991). However, during this period the Paragon brand was used almost exclusively by the Groups 'Royal Albert Division' to help further endorse the high-quality of their fine bone China collections, such as this outstanding Belinda pattern. The pattern, with its multi-coloured wildflower borders and classical gold trim, first came to market in the 1980's and quickly became one of the most fashionable and instantly recognisable patterns of its generation; the pure white China and Corinth shaped design, providing the perfect backdrop for the delightful, yet subtle, floral motifs.
