Description
Beautiful c1932 fine bone China Art Deco trio by Grafton. The trio with scalloped edging, includes: Teacup, saucer, and shaped side plate.
Founded in 1900, Grafton was a highly popular British bone China and Earthenware manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, and owned by Alfred B. Jones & Sons. In 1950, with the award of a Royal Charter, the company changed their name to Royal Grafton, and from that time, became globally well-known.
This superb 90-year-old, hand-painted trio of delicate pink, blue, and yellow blooming flower petals with leaves, is expertly contrasted with subtle green vertical lines, offering-up a classical Deco period pattern. These colours then radiate from a pure white China background, finished with a gold trim.
