Description
Probably from the Tek Sing shipwreck cargo*, the bowl with incised decoration, under a light celadon glaze, now mostly washed off the porcelaneous stoneware body. Burial deposits to rear.
*This ship, sunk in 1822 was discovered by Michael Hatcher in 1999, since when many similar pieces have been marketed by Nagel Auctions and others. No provenance
