Classically Tasteful Edwardian Brass & Iron King Size Bed

This classically tasteful king size Edwardian bed has all the familiarity of a classic straight rail bed with a few unique, special touches, making this an individual bed without being too ‘out there’! Lovely detail in decorative castings, with a delightful combination of round iron and square brass tube. Original brass caps, feet and central ball. All brass cleaned, polished and aged to give a lovely patina. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed to preserve. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on 2” base. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Local, National and International delivery can be arranged.
