All Published by Macmillan & Co, London 1948-1956
All books with illustrations by Stuart Tresilian.
The complete set of eight volumes of adventure stories with the river & the ship being first editions and first printings, all other titles are very early editions.
All hardbacks bound in the original decorated cloth bindings.
Frontis plates to all books plus several black and white illustrations to each book, no dust jackets.

condition
Few very minor marks to cloth spines & boards mostly to spines of the river & the mountain, some corners bumped, some front endpapers with names or inscriptions or with pencil names or inscription rubbed out, occasional light foxing or minor marks to pages mostly to page fore-edges.
Overall books are in really nice condition with cloth covers bright & majority of pages clean.
