Continental Pitch Pine Chest of Drawers

This is a charming antique continental country pitch pine chest of drawers which dates to the 19th century. It is a lovely piece which is perfect for use in a bedroom, The chest has a quirky and unusual look which will suit a home with character. The chest is very well made from solid pitch pine and is modestly sized, fairly low and quite deep. It is surprisingly heavy and was definitely built to last! The front is fitted with five spacious lockable drawers which open to reveal very clean interiors. The chest is set on small turnip shaped feet and the wood has a natural matt looking waxed finish. Condition This piece has been checked over in our Devon workshop, any wood worm holes have been treated as a precaution. The drawer runners have worn slightly over time but the drawers still run well. Measurements height- 73cms width- 98cms depth- 58cms The measurements are taken at the widest points.
