Description
Cotswold School oak drop leaf dining table possibly based on a Georgian drop leaf table. This is the highest quality one can expect to see. Each gateleg is through tenoned on both sides with the tiniest split wedges. The stretcher has been curved to house the legs. The stretcher is tenoned through the main four legs of the table.
This table matches the chairs listed in another advert.
Please note even though the chairs are described as being Barnsley workshops. Please don't rule out Gordon Russell. One cannot know everything in this business.
These are being sold as a set of four chairs and matching table for £6250.
The quality is on a par with the best in the cabinet making business/ designed furniture of the era they were made in .
30-40 photos or more are available to interested parties.
The gatelegs look hexagonal but are octagonal .Ever so slightly .Part of the design and skill .
Absolute quality .
