Danish Vintage Rosewood Sideboard by Bordum and Nielsen
An exceptional Danish vintage rosewood sideboard by Bordum and Nielsen. This was made in Denmark and it dates from the 1960’s.
The quality is phenomenal, this incredibly well crafted. The rosewood grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous, it has lovely sculpted solid rosewood handles on the drawers, and lovely recessed handles on the sliding doors.
The interior is nicely fitted out with adjustable shelves in the lower cabinet sections. The drawers run smoothly, the two on the right are felt lined and also have removable felt lined removable trays inside. The Danish quality control badge is seen inside the lower right cabinet. The base can be removed for ease of transport, the back is also beautifully finished in rosewood, so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout.
The wood is Santos rosewood which does not require a Cites or article 10.
