Danish Vintage Rosewood Sofa by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen

A stunning and very rare Danish vintage rosewood sofa by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard Nielsen. This was made in Denmark by France and Son, it dates from the 1960s. The quality is outstanding, this is incredibly well designed, comfortable and stylish. The solid rosewood frame has wonderful lines, looking amazing from all angles. We have had the frame stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the cushions have been newly made and upholstered in a cream boucle fabric. The seat base is original with sprung webbing, and ha also been re-covered in the same cream boucle fabric. We also have the matching pair of armchairs available separately, seen listed under our other items for sale. The wood is Santos rosewood and does not require a Cites or article 10.
