A superb set of handblown vintage drinking glasses, themed on the epic, world famous early 1600 Spanish novels of 'Don Quixote de la Mancha', a fictional character, who set-out on a quest to revive chivalry and honourably serve his nation...(Awesome!!) Each of the 6 x slim amber shaded glasses are set in a bespoke leather sleeve, each sleeve depicting four different scenes from the illustrious novels. The four scenes are: - The bust of Don Quixote wearing a period millstone collar. - Don Quixote in military attire, holding a lance, on his faithful horse 'Rocinante'. - One of the windmills that Don Quixote decided to attack, having mistakenly believing it to be a giant. - Don Quixote's trusted servant and squire, 'Sancho Panza', holding a shield whilst mounted on his bedraggled donkey named 'Dapple'.
