Description
Early 18th Century Welsh antique oak coffor bach (miniature coffer) - A wonderful example of this type of furniture! The rectangular top with moulded edge, opening on an unusual tortoise and tendon type hinge, to reveal an open interior. The front with a central false locking escutcheon, flanked by a pair of fine, raised fielded panels with shaped, arched tops, over a shaped apron and bracket feet.
