Our new premises has been fully refurbished using up-to -date insulation materials , low energy lighting and our interior is mainly constructed from recycled materials. Description
This is an early 19th century nautical themed mahogany longcase clock. The case has a wavy pediment, reeded side columns and the original removable finials. The figured mahogany base has a fielded panelled door and base, with bracket feet. The 14 inch beautifully painted dial has embossed brass hands, subsidiary seconds dial, date window, shell corner paintings and within the arch is a diorama of a rocking galleon that swings in time with the pendulum. It has an 8 day movement that strikes the hours on a bell. Please note that not all items are on display in our showrooms and may be in our off-site store. If you wish to see specific items please notify us before visiting so that we can ensure the item(s) are available to view.
