Description
A stylish silver sovereign case from the first year of King George V's reign. This elegant example is of typical rounded form, with a plain tactile case and spring release mechanism. The button on the terminal is depressed and this releases the cover to reveal a sprung sovereign holder. To the top is a large attaching ring for a fob chain or chatelaine. A lovely reminder of a bygone age.
