As a result of many inquiries into this style of chairs ;
For sale is a set of eight Edward Barnsley Coronation chairs consisting of two carvers and six single chairs .
The chair on the left in the main picture is a light golden oak and has been restored.It,s a light to medium Golden oak colour .
See photos 1 to 7.
The middle chair is a slightly lighter oak and retains remnants of its original finish to illustrate tones / shades .
See photos 1,6 & 7 . To be restored.
The chair on the right is how many of these chairs appear on the market which require full restoration .However still usable but not pleasing to the eye. One can see the extent of the original dark finish by removing the drop in seat .

The carver chair in the last photo was restored as light as possible to meet the customers taste .

Additional carvers and single chairs can be added to make a bigger set of chairs.
The drop in seats can be upholstered or one can do this themselves.Or employ any upholsterer in the UK .
A set can be purchased fully restored or unrestored .
These chairs are highly sort after .
However its the time and cost involved to get them to a high standard of finish .
There are also slight variations to these chairs which must be pointed out .
One needs to be very aware of this fact .
The chairs were made to a specific design .
