This is a lovely highly polished eight day non-fusee bracket clock with a movement of very high quality similar to Winterhalder and Hofmeier but unstamped. Dating from 1914, according to the original plaque on the front of the clock, this well proportioned oak case is in fantastic condition with engraving to the front case upper portion. The heavy cast bezel is retained in place by the original working front catch and the recently serviced eight day movement strikes the full hour and half on a wonderful-sounding gong. The silvered dial is a lovely feature and very reflective, complimented by the original blued hands and original key. This clock comes with my standard two year guarantee.
