Egyptian Revival Sunburst Antique Wall Mirror

Here is a most eye-catching and useable wall mounting mirror with a top inward carved frieze, featuring two part sunburst motifs and a central small circle with cross cutting within. The sides of the frame have been reed cut for added emphasis ( see photographs six and seven). The mirror might especially suit an Art Deco or Eqyptian Revival style look The frame is, I believe, made from solid oak of good quality and the original finish has been sanded for a more contemporary look and feel leaving a light golden finish with darker highlights. The mirror has bevelled edges. A beautiful and unusual piece for your hallway, dressing, living or bedroom.
