Elkington Striking Carriage Clock

A decorative French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Red quarter hour markers and signed to the dial 'Elkington'. Lovely detailing to the case with gilded floral fretwork and fluted side pillars. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong.
