Description
A rare chair by E.W Godwin and probably made by William Watt. Anglo Japanese design. Upholstered professionally. This was purchased already upholstered.
This will be priced accordingly to allow for the previous owners tastes, i.e less than the going rate as its been restored .
It has a high market value if left unrestored as seldom do these chairs appear on the market .
The chair would have had a caned seat, exposed back with decorative turnings. One can find identical examples of this model unrestored.
I can send you images of a perfect example that I sold totally untouched .
declaration
