Mercier Freres was a distinguished French design studio and furniture manufacturer founded late in the 19th century in Paris on rue Faubourg Saint-Antoine in the heart of the Parisian furniture district. It was recognized as one of the leading French design firms of the late 19th century, a distinction that continued well into the 20th century.
