The clock is a portico mantel clock typical of the period. The clock is early, circa 1860 mid Victorian period. The clock has a fantastic ormolu bezel, embossed compensating pendulum and finely cut ormolu mounted decoration to the ebonized case. The photos do not do this clock justice truly wonderful clock in the flesh. Good condition for age, showing slight signs of age, small chip and hairline to by the 6, I have chosen not to replace the dial to keep it all original. please view the many photos make sure happy.
