A Collectors piece, it displays very well with its original ormolu finished case with Corinthian pillar corners capped with finials. It has a wonderfully floral incised ormolu front plate which masks the white enamel dial with a ormolu center. It is in good working order, comes complete with double ended winding key. The clock is an 8-day French carriage clock. It keeps relatively good time and has an rectangle beveled viewing window to see the original platform balance in action.
