Description
This is a wonderful distressed example of a fairground speedway bike from the mid 20th century, this colourful and fun interiors piece is made of wood with iron base brackets.
- Painted timber in yellow & red.
- Iron brackets at base, originally to fix to the ride.
- Hole drilled through the front bumper area for placement fixture.
- Black padded seat with worn leatherette upholstery.
- Iron handlebars well wrapped with original plastic covering to protect the hands.
- Steel bracket plate screwed in front of the handlebar area.
This is a decorator's statement piece which will look great in an entertainment or games room.
In sturdy condition showing extensive wear consistent with age and use. The wood and the paint are distressed, there is some surface corrosion to the iron brackets and the leatherette on the seat is cracked, but it stands well and has a characterful look.
