Fine quality Victorian freestanding Maple & Co. inlaid writing desk having original pierced brass galleries, mirror to the centre with a pretty inlaid rail above flanked by two faux drawers to the right, one faux and one opening drawer to the left all which are exquisitely inlaid in a beautiful design. The drawers all boast the attractive original brass engraved handles and have shaped lids which open to reveal a stationery and storage department. The top has a green leather writing surface, seven satinwood inlaid drawers to the kneehole desk all with brass engraved handles, satinwood inlay to the sides and raised on eight elegant square satinwood inlaid tapering legs on original brass cup castors.
