Description
An attractive, good-sized novelty silver bookmark formed as a stylised sword with long blade and decorative "hilt" with twisted wire scrolls and engraved vine leaves and bright cut engraved decoration of geometric friezes to the front and acanthus leaves to the reverse. Finished with a polished banded agate handle. Marked "C&N Silver", for makers Crisford & Norris, c.1900.
