Fine W.A.S Benson Red Brass Duplex Oil Lamp c.1910

A fine example of a W.A.S (William Arthur Smith) Benson “red “Brass duplex oil lamp circa 1910. The lift out font with 3 legs so it can be used without its tall base. The rim with the Benson Shield mark used from 1909-1925. Double struck so a little blurry. Please see photo The lock on burner is a Hinks Lever No2 and is in full working order with no repairs. The lamp itself is in very good condition and totally usable and comes with a Vintage replacement glass funnel. Standing 16 inches to the top of the burner, Base diameter 6.75 inches Red brass has more copper in it so has a warmer polished bronze colour, Not as traditional yellow brass
