Fob Victorian 1890s Pocket Watch Chain 'very Good' Antique Silver Nickel Fob

Victorian Gentleman's large, chunky and highly impressive Antique bright silver nickel (mirror finish) pocket watch chain shield fob which is unusually inscribed; "Very Good". C ~1890's. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.9cm height (including the top ring), 2.6cm width and weighs a very respectable 6.7 grams. Beautifully decorated to the front with a highly detailed acanthus leaf design to either side, an attractive 'ribbon' bow to base and un-engraved 'banner' cartouche to top. To centre is a slightly raised shield shaped cartouche which is clearly engraved; Very Good. The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Clearly stamped (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche) with a registration number; Rd347294. Robust secure silver nickel top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage or wear and just a tiny bit of very light patina and few fine little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
