French 19th Century Scent Bottles in Fitted Box

A pair of beautiful 19th Century French perfume bottles in a fitted case resembling a travelling trunk, these delightful pieces are in amazingly good condition and are truly one for the collector of lovely things. - Leather trunk shaped box, with cut steel decoration and brass fittings. - Lined with watered silk. - Bottle tops hand painted with scenes from Paris, one having Notre Dame and the other the obelisk from the Place de la Concorde. - Glass stoppers in place beneath the hinged decorative tops. - Polished pontil marks to the bottom of the glass bottles. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. No key is available for the trunk.
