Clockwise is proud to present another fully restored, quality striking carriage clock in excellent condition. Dating from late Victorian times and being of more squat proportions this handsome clock has an eight day movement which strikes the full hours and one at the half on a mellow-sounding spiral gong. The platform is the preferred lever variety and has a dynamic action when working. The dial has bold roman numerals with minute markers and original spade hands to compliment its appearance. The glasses are all in perfect condition and the case has a lovely shine to it and is complete with the plate underneath which conceals the case screws.
The height detailed below is with the handle up and in old money it's 6 1/2 inches tall.
The movement has just been restored and as such benefits from my three year guarantee and this clock comes complete with a winding key.
There is a very faint hairline across the dial (from IX to Iiii) which is reflected in the price.
Clockwise specialises in longcase and bracket clocks and with clients from the world of business, film, sport, nobility and aristocracy - yet more than happy with traditional clients - Clockwise has an unrivalled reputation for excellence and superb service.
