Description
This very rare early George I trivet footman is made from a heavy pierced bronze top above three slender steel legs. There are still traces of green paint on the legs. The trivet comes from a small Queen Anne manor house in Devon where it had purportedly been since manufacture. A rare survivor, it is at least 295 years old and exudes age and quality. We welcome any questions or enquiries regarding the footman. Please message us and we will be delighted to help.
