Description
George II period, mahogany framed side or dining chair. With solid vasiform back splat, over drop in seat covered in chocolate coloured velvet fabric. Rounded broad seat rails, raised on cabriole front legs with carved edges, on off-set pad feet, splayed rear legs with chamfered corners with single ring turned stretcher between.
A handsome and quality chair, in good condition and ready for use.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a good condition commensurate with its age. Some odd minor marks and blemishes. No loose joints. A repair to the front left knee. Slight split to the back of the right side seat rail. Good colour, pleasing patina, and a good wax polish. Never French polished. The seat has been recently reupholstered. Serviced, cleaned and wax polished. Very serviceable and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.Come and view any piece in my warehouse near Harrogate.
