Description
This is a very elegant 18th Century George III antique mahogany pembroke table of small proportions ideal for those smaller positions in the home.
The table has a moulded top with serpentine leaves and bowed ends which are held up on wooden bracket. The frieze drawer is fitted with a brass swan-neck handle. The table to being raised on very elegant square-section tapering legs. The table has a lovely patina and the wood colour is even across all sections.
This would make a wonderful lamp table, bedside or hall table with an understated beauty that will fit a range of interiors.

This is in very good antique condition. The colour is even across the middle section and both leaves. Structurally sound. The draw runs well. The wooden brackets which hold the leaves are sturdy. The bottom of the legs have small historic nibbles commensurate with age. The table top has signs of use, which are now part of the pieces patina and character, please see the accompanying photos.
All said this is a tidy antique piece which has the duel purpose of being both very handsome and incredibly useful in todays home!
