Description
Solid silver antique marrow scoop made by Hester Bateman and hallmarked for London 1781. Double ended scoop with a crest to the reverse of the large bowl and initials I*M on the front.
As you can see from the photos the hallmarks are very well struck and very clear. A lovely piece of Georgian silver by one of the best.

Lovely antique condition, hallmarks well struck and clear. Some scratches to the back of the large bowl (see photos) but in great overall condition for its age and use.
