Description
A George III period, small mahogany dumbwaiter tripod table, circa 1800. A quality, original dumbwaiter, featuring a well figured, single piece top and lower tier in solid mahogany. Supported by a baluster stem, raised on a tripod of carved cabriole legs, with original brass castors.
A handsome, original, and quality example dumb waiter, in very good condition and ready for use.
This dumbwaiter measures approximately 78.5 cm (30.875") tall, and the top is 42 cm (16") in diameter and the lower tier 57 cm (22"). in diameter.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This dumb waiter is in very good and original condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. All original, with the exception of a strengthening bracket that has been added to the underside of one legs. A little warping to both of the shelves, though not obvious, and would not affect its use. Old marks and blemishes on the top, now well polished in. Very good colour, lovely patina, with very good wax polish. Never French polished. No obvious signs or damage or repair. Sensitively cleaned and waxed polished. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
