Description
This is an attractive George III antique silver cream jug of oval shape with squared strap handle. Bright cut engraved frieze below the rim of a running vine, a small floral device below the spout and leaf edged cartouche with engraved initials. Hallmarks to the front, King George III, lion passant and maker's mark for Richard Ferris of Exeter. No town assay mark or date letter but c.1795-1810.
