Good 19th Century Mahogany Fusee Station Clock

This is a good quality 19th century London Fusee wall clock by Dearling of Croydon in beautiful clean condition dating from around 1870. The mahogany case has a pleasing plain design with side and bottom doors and the original painted dial has Roman numerals and signed Dearling High Street Croydon . The good quality movement is a single fusee with anchor escapement which has been cleaned and serviced. This runs for 8 days winding once a week on a key and keeps very good time. The original winding key is present as is the original key to the working lock for the bottom door.
